In Minnesota, women can face up to 30 days in jail for impersonating Santa Claus!
There are some crazy laws in our states. Apparently, every man in Brainerd, Minnesota is required to grow a beard. It’s illegal to tease skunks and women can face up to 30 days in jail for impersonating Santa Claus in Minnesota.

A Michigan law says it is illegal to make love in a car unless it is on your own personal property and a woman’s hair belongs to her husband. In Detroit it is illegal to “ogle” a woman from a moving car. In Montana it is a felony for a woman to open her husband’s mail.

In Las Vegas, Nevada it is illegal to feed the homeless. The city doesn’t want tourists to realize how many homeless there really are. They also closed all the parks in Vegas so that the homeless won’t congregate. They must continue to move all day or be arrested. To feed the homeless, you have to make two lunches and eat with them so that you are technically “eating with a friend.”

Okay, but that Detroit law is actually SUPER good and important. Street harassment and yelling at women from cars SHOULD be illegal. And in groundbreaking (but still disgusting) news, Vegas is a super shitty place.

I just got an email from a woman who apparently lives across town from me who has the exact same name as me. Spelled the same, first and last name. What a strange, small world. She found out by visiting her niece’s school, which I’m assuming is in my high school’s district, because I (who they thought was her) was in the system. And she found my email via my grad school website and was just such a doll about it, saying I was a beautiful young woman who seemed to be doing great and that my parents must be so proud of me. It was so wonderful to hear that from a stranger who happens to have the same name as me.

I should note that my last name is not a common one. I have never, until this point, met someone I was not related to with the same last name.

Clinical trials usually last at least a month, if not longer. There is no reason why that shouldn’t have been caught. Or is weight loss really seen as more important than proper lung function?
