What really gets me
is that people can’t fucking wait to put in their brilliant two cents on the situation. They can’t even wait 24 fucking hours to give their insight on how it could have been prevented, what should be done next, how it’s similar/different to this killing or that shooting. Twelve people were killed, even more injured, and hundreds, thousands even, of families and friends are in mourning. And people really think they’re helping the situation with their comments and comparisons? Do people really think that pointing out the flaws in weapon sale laws and gun control laws is really helping? Is it really that important right now if it’s considered terrorism or not? Yes, these are important things to bring up. BUT NOT TODAY. Show a little respect to the people who died and those who are trying to get through today and save your criticisms and social commentary and brilliant insight until tomorrow. Just because it didn’t directly impact you doesn’t mean you have to be an insensitive ass about it.
